Easter + Baseball = Spring It's Easter weekend. And it's the opening weekend for baseball. Regardless of the weather, it's officially Spring. Easter is celebrated on the 1st Sunday, which follows the first full moon, that comes immediately after the spring equinox. And 2024 marks the 148th (1876 to 2024) opening weekend for major league baseball. Tahoe's crews deserve a good weekend celebration after working on refurbishing and replacing several area ballfield projects.
