Useful Year Round Most people wouldn't believe that tennis courts at our mountain area resorts, and pickleball courts to some degree, are used year-round. During the Summer and Fall they're used for the purpose they were designed for, playing tennis. But in the Winter and early Spring, tennis courts are often used in a much different way. They hold snow. Some mountain resorts have no choice but to use their tennis courts to contain the piles of snow removed from driveways and parking lots. It's space that gets used throughout the year. Even if it's not for the original intended purpose. During the Summer and Fall they’re used for the purpose they were designed for, playing tennis. But in the Winter and early Spring, tennis courts are often used in a much different way. They hold snow.
