A History of Working Hard This week in 1869, work began on the Sutro Tunnel (nearly 4 miles long). It connected the Savage Mine in Virginia City close to where Dayton is today. In the Black Rock Desert, the supersonic land speed record (over 750 mph) was 1st set this week in 1997. And this week, Tahoe Fence was gratefully surprised to learn we were voted one of the best fence companies by "'The Record-Courier' Best of Carson Valley" for 2024. Thank you to all who voted for us. We hope Tahoe's hard work these past 50-years, and work going forward, continues to make a lasting and positive impact for our area as well.
