Birthday NV We're celebrating Nevada's 160th (1864 to 2024) year as a state this weekend. When we were kids, Nevada Day was celebrated on Nevada Day, October 31st. In Carson City, Halloween trick or treating was done on October 30th. So you could enjoy your candy the next day while watching the Nevada Day Parade. And if you could manage it, go out trick or treating again Halloween night in the areas around Carson. Now we're used to celebrating on a three-day weekend. But there was something special about two nights of trick or treating growing up! However you wish to celebrate, have a happy and safe Nevada Day.
