Rocking Out & Digging It

Rocking Out & Digging It Tahoe's crews have been rocking this western red cedar conservancy fence install at Baldwin and Ski Beaches for the US Forest Service restoration projects. This fence has double posts that sandwich staggered rails between them. The rails get through-bolted in place. And the posts are gravel set. Tahoe's crews are digging the holes a minimum of 24-inches in diameter to accommodate the posts and surrounding gravel. Sonotubes are required in several locations. Otherwise the sand is continually filling the holes.
